Old Dominion University’s Office of Study Abroad is seeking a dynamic intern for the Spring 2010 semester. The Office of Study Abroad is a cooperative, team-driven environment looking to redesign our print and online promotional and marketing materials.
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and have experience developing print materials such as a logo, brochures, posters, flyers and other publications. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign and Adobe Photoshop is required. The selected candidate is also expected to utilize campus computer resources, or provide a personal computer and software. Experience with web design and an interest in international study or travel is preferred, but not necessary.
While this is a 10 hour per week, unpaid internship, we are flexible with scheduling and can work around classes. The intern will have the opportunity to take a leadership role in projects, often from concept to product, and will be able to truly develop his or her portfolio. To apply, complete the application, and submit to Erin Miller, Study Abroad Coordinator, at eemiller@odu.edu, no later then January 4, 2010. Applicants will be required to present sample works for review.
